These guys... Affinity's elite Fijate squad

Back in NYC after a crazy fun time in San Juan for the Fijate festival. The team did a stand up job battling the heat and the serious racing that went down at Saturday's crit. Our hats off to the Puerto Rican power house duo of Edgardo Richiez and Eduardo Colon of team Impulse Stage for their impressive performance and race strategy... Edgardo took the victory with a 30 second solo effort.

With only 13 finishers of a 93 person field, our Dutch rider Patrick Kos took 6th place, and wrapped up his first fixed crit race up right, and thrilled with his out come.

Our PR team mates David Velez (owner of Ciclo Pedal) and the up and coming Pedro Izquierdo finished in the second group just behind the leaders.

More to come, here's a few teaser shots of the guys...

We're at it again... Affinity animates Fijate 2014 and shakes up the crit scene.

Love it or hate it, one thing you can expect form Affinity is our idiosyncratic attitude towards cycling. Our band of Brooklyn misfits just arrived in Puerto Rico to compete in PR Fixed's event Fijate Urban Cycling Fest. What makes this race particularly interesting, is that that Affinity won't be showing up with our just squad of testy disgruntled bike messengers, but with our Dutch powerhouse and six day champion Patrick Kos.

Did Affinity just bring a gun to a knife fight? We'd say its more like leveling the playing field. While other companies are bringing their heavy hitters to the crit events, so is Affinity.

Fijate will be the launch of what Affinity's go in store for the crit scene... Good luck to Patrick and the Affinity Crit squad. More to come...
